10 Kitchen Items to Try from TEMU
TEMU is an online marketplace where everything is sold at a ridiculously low price. Most of the products here are HIT, with a few occasional Misses. In this Article, we have curated a list of 10 Kitchen gadgets that are worth a try.
1. Electric Can Opener
An Electric Can-Opener is one of my best finds at TEMU. Previously, I had been using a manual can-opener from Dollar Tree and had dreaded opening the cans for years.
I used to prefer the more expensive Pull-Tab Cans to the traditional ones just because of the hassle of using the manual can-opener and injuring my fingers.
The Electric Can-Opener from TEMU costs around $7-$20 and is battery-operated. It has a built-in magnet that lifts the lid after opening it.
Fun Fact: If you don’t use the full can at once, you can re-seal the can by simply placing the lid back on. Once I used half a can of Condensed Milk, put the lid back on, and used the rest of it AFTER 2 MONTHS!
However, I DO NOT recommend using condensed milk after that long, but the point is, putting the lid back on keeps the food fresh for a long time!
2. Kitchen Soap Dispenser
This is one of the gadgets I didn't even know I needed! Trust me, your liquid dish soap needs a dispenser. Picking up the bottle, squeezing the soap onto the sponge, and then washing the dishes is just too many steps!
You should only need to use 1 hand to dispense the soap onto your sponge. This is the only right way of doing the dishes!
I had a pump bottle for my kitchen soap and didn’t realize how important it was, until I visited my parents' house, where I had to SQUEEZE THE BOTTLE to get the soap on the sponge. It annoyed me so much every single time!
WARNING: Once you get a dispenser bottle for your dish soap, THERE IS NO GOING BACK!
3. Drawer Organizer/Divider
You can never underestimate the importance of a kitchen drawer organizer. You can get a reasonable drawer organizer from TEMU that can fit in most standard drawers. If your drawers are too small or too big, you can opt for a drawer divider instead, whose length can be adjusted to fit almost any drawer.
If you haven’t already, you must sort out your spoons, forks, knives, and other tools, and keep them separated inside the drawers. Just imagine, looking for something inside the drawer and finding it within seconds, without creating any major mess!
4. Glass Food Containers
Temu is a great place to buy glass food containers. You can buy a set of 12 containers for under $20. They are decent quality, perfectly air-tight, and easy to clean (as compared to the plastic tupperware). The only thing to keep in mind is the SIZE.
They look much bigger in the pictures. They generally come in 2 sizes, and you CANNOT fit a sandwich even in the bigger ones.
5. Bag Re-sealer
This will be a great addition to your kitchen. They come in 2 different sizes. The smaller ones are about the size of a stapler, and their price starts from less than $3.
It can be used to seal the bags of chips or other snacks (like cereal, pancake mix, etc). Sealing the bags with this gadget keeps your snacks fresh for weeks!
It is rechargeable and comes with a USB-A cable. The battery life is quite decent and lasts for weeks (with use once or twice daily).
6. Microfiber Dish Towels
These microfiber towels are great for drying dishes. They are very soft and perfectly sized. They dry down very quickly. You can purchase a set of 10 towels for under $5 (and a set of 20 for approximately $7). Typically, 1 towel would last you a month (if used only for drying out dishes after washing).
Similar quality towels from Amazon cost around $1-$2 a piece.
7. Roll-up Dish Drying Rack for Sink
If you don’t like clutter on your kitchen counters, you probably hate the bulky dish drying rack in your kitchen, always loaded with unorganized dishes and other utensils.
In this situation, this roll-up dish drying rack is a game-changer for you! It is especially ideal for kitchen sinks divided in the middle, but it works on all types of sinks.
The best thing about this rack is that the water from your dishes drains directly into your sink. Moreover, after the dishes are dried, you can roll up the rack and store it without having any visual clutter.
8. Mini Spoons
These cute little mini spoons will be a great addition to your kitchen. They are ideal for putting in your spice jars. One thing to note is that, in most cases, the prices shown are for a single or two spoons, while the pictures show 6-10 spoons, which is very misleading.
These spoons are useful only if you use one spoon for one jar. Otherwise, they will only cause you frustration.
Another thing to be careful about is the HANDLES! Look for these tiny spoons with long handles! Those with small handles are extremely tricky to take out of the jar, and more often than not, you will get your hand in the spice or whatever you are trying to extract from the jars, using these spoons!
9. Lazy Susan

10. LED Motion Sensor Lights
These LED motion sensor lights are a must-have in every kitchen. They provide excellent illumination under your cabinets, making cooking much easier. Imagine not avoiding the kitchen at night because of the dark. These lights are a game-changer!
Additionally, they are very easy to install thanks to their magnetic design. Although they are a bit smaller than those available on Amazon (at double the price), they are still a great choice.

The prices of all items vary immensely. I still include the prices to give you a rough idea. Most of the items are on Lightning deal (with 80% off) all the time! Sometimes the prices seem overly inflated and then marked down in the name of Thunder Lightning SALE. But inspite of all these things, TEMU offers some great products at very affordable prices which only makes life more fun.
